*Nominating Committee Note:
Article VI, Section 2, (b) of the Bylaws of District 5840, states that the Nominating Committee for District Governor shall consist of the two most recent Past District 5840 Governors, and three Club Presidents with the Past District Governor senior in service acting as chairman. No member of the committee may serve if a member of his own club is being considered for District Governor. For the purpose of electing Club Presidents as members and alternates of the nominating committee, the District shall be divided in Sections 1, 2, and 3, and the clubs of these sections shall elect their own committee member and alternate.
Clubs assigned to each section are found on the following sections.
For Sections 1, 2 and 3 members and alternates were duly elected at the District Assembly on April 30, 2005.
