We are saddened to announce the death of Walter Thomas, member of the Rotary Club of San Antonio. Walter was President in 1992-93 and District Governor in 1996-97. He joined the club in 1974 and had 38 years of perfect attendance before illness made it impossible to attend on a regular basis.
Walter was known for his quick wit and sage advice. Walter will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Our condolences to his family, especially his children Diane and Glenn, who are both members of the club and carry on the Thomas tradition of perfect attendance.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, between 5pm-7pm at Porter Loring, Downtown San Antonio, and Masonic Interment will be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
