District Simplified Grants

District Simplified Grants are a tool that clubs can use to support short-term humanitarian projects that benefit their communities. Funding is based on the amount of money contributed by the District to The Rotary Foundation three years earlier. The District receives 50 percent of that amount each year in District Designated Funds. The District may then allocate 20 percent of the DDF for District Simplified Grants.

Clubs may apply for a maximum amount of $2,500, and must match the amount of money they are requesting. Use of the funds must comply with Rotary International's "Terms and Conditions for District Simplified Grants" (see downloads at left). Grants are funded on a first-come, first-served basis.

The DSG application is available for download to the left of this page. See "Explanation of Key Grants" to determine whether a District Simplified Grant or another type of grant is most applicable for your project.

 Clubs should retain original receipts for all grant-funded expenditures and provide copies to the district along with the Club Report Form (available for download to the left of this page) once the project is complete. Do not send receipts to The Rotary Foundation unless requested by staff.
