The San Antonio Northwest Rotary Club is spreading comfort, compassion, and hope through a special service project honoring the memory of longtime Rotarian and dear friend, Dave Adams, who lost his battle with cancer last year. In his honor, the club donated 100 large plush Care Bears to the MD Anderson Cancer Center at University Hospital in San Antonio. These bears will be distributed across three floors, providing comfort to approximately 90 pediatric and adult patients currently undergoing cancer treatment.
The stuffed bears offer more than a soft embrace—they serve as a symbol of love, strength, and encouragement for those facing difficult and painful moments. By carrying forward Dave’s spirit of kindness and service, San Antonio Northwest Rotary continues to demonstrate Rotary’s heart for compassionate community impact.
