As part of our District 5840 program in South Texas, the Alamo Heights Rotary Club put up mini-library boxes in three locations in the area of the Alamo Heights Independent School District.

These mini-libraries will make a wide variety of family friendly books available to everyone in the area. Use of the books will be at no cost. We are currently collecting books that can be used in this project. If you have any family friendly books for any age, please drop them off at one of the following locations:

Christian Brothers Automotive:
1431 Austin Highway (78209)
15301 San Padro Ave (78232) (Hwy 281 & Brook Hollow)

Edward Jones
1828 Nacogdoches (78209)(in Carousel Court)

Elms Macchia, PLLC

The mini-library boxes were constructed by Club members and were put up on April 3. Alamo Heights Rotary Club members dug the holes, poured the concrete and put up the three new mini-libraries now ready for use in the Alamo Heights Independent School District area. They are located at Howard Early Childhood (7800 Broadway), Woodridge Elementary (100 Woodridge Drive), and Cambridge Elementary (1001 Townsend Ave). Funds used to support this ongoing service project were raised at Alamo Heights Night.
