Atascosa County Rotary Clubs (Jourdanton, Pleasanton, and Poteet) from District 5840 gathered together on 12/14/23 at the Pleasanton Lions Club building for our annual Christmas party. (BIG thank you to the Pleasanton Lions Club for helping us out with the event!!) It was Jourdanton’s year to host, and we had Chile Bandera cater a fabulous turkey dinner with all the fixings.
The members of the Jourdanton Rotary Club provided deserts. Special guests were the Rotary District Governor Monica Guterriez, the Rotary District Governor Elect Kristen Salazar, and Bobby Martinez from the Poteet Rotary Club. Guest were asked to bring a donation for our local food pantry, Bountiful Blessings. Guests were also entered into a drawing for door prizes provided by all three clubs. Club Presidents are Michele Higginbotham from the Jourdanton Rotary Club, Jessica Tom from the Pleasanton Rotary Club, and Darrell Eichman from the Poteet Rotary Club. A special thank you to the ladies who decorated, Monica Meyer, Shannon Chicoine, Michele Higginbotham, Benita Muckleroy, and Theresa McAllister.
