The Rotary Club of Greater San Marcos gathered last Friday at the community classroom at CTMC to organize school supplies, prepare 340 individual packets of supplies, and pack them in banana boxes for delivery to 2 isolated villages across the border in Mexico (in partnership with Mision De Candelilla) , as well as to the Hays Caldwell Women's Center and the Crisis Bread Basket.
Club President, Lisa Brown, placed a personal letter in each packet wishing the students much success in their educational journeys.  This project is part of Rotary's mission to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.
