The Rotary Club of Blanco County proudly awarded six scholarships of $2,000 each to graduating seniors from Blanco High School and Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) High School during recent end-of-year awards ceremonies.
The scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to serving others. Through its annual scholarship program, the Rotary Club seeks to support local students as they pursue higher education and career goals.
In addition to three academic scholarships, there was a Joe Garcia Community Service Scholarship, a Don Van Eynde Business, and a Career/Technical Scholarship awarded.
The Rotary Club of Blanco County remains committed to promoting education, leadership, and service, and wishes all graduating seniors success in their future endeavors.
