This past June a dinner and installation ceremony introduced the new club President for 2022- 2023 as Jack Estes, the President Elect as Joe Anzollitto and Susie Smith as the Vice President.
Retiring President Leigh Grant Owen gave many heartfelt thanks to those who have served so faithfully this past year. In addition to the many community service projects, informative speakers, and financial support to nonprofits locally and internationally – the club members have enjoyed good times and strong fellowship.
Some of this year’s service projects included: Christmas with Santa benefitting the Meadowland’s youth residents, fans for seniors, monthly food support for Blessings in a Backpack, Boerne Mile maintenance, and more. There have been special programs like the Knighting Ceremonies of Early Act First Knight, student scholarships for college, and financial support for Ukraine.
This year, under Ms. Owen’s leadership, the Club attained “RockStar” status from South Texas Rotary District 5840. Congratulations to Leigh Grant Owen and the many active members of The Rotary Club of Boerne (Noontime) who made this happen! We know that under this year’s leadership of Jack Estes the Club will continue to shine!
