The Rotary Club of Wimberley is proud to announce the winner and runner up of the third Danforth Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year.
This challenge asked students to read a book about an individual who must overcome adversity, then present an interview of the individual that reveals how they prevailed. The runner up is eighth grader, Sidera Skiles. Sidera’s interview was with Ladaislav Dragwyla from the book And I Darken Sidera received $50. The winner of a crisp $100 bill is 8th grader, Lilly Mylius who interviewed Billy Dunne from the book Daisy Jones and the Six. Their entries are attached for you to enjoy.
