It has been an honor and pleasure serving with you in Rotary this year. Thank you so much for all you do as Rotarians in our community, national and around the world. As we wind down this Rotary year, we have exceeded our goal on Foundation Giving and Polio plus in the district.
This is a direct reflection of your efforts at club level. As of 14 June, Rotary Clubs in the District contributed $243,636 towards the Foundation and $51,017 towards Polio plus. This is an amazing accomplishment with the end of year still 15 days out.
We are so lucky to have such an amazing District Governor line team coming up over the next few years. DGE Monica Gutierrez will have the District Governor and Leadership team induction on 25 June at Aggie Park. Register here. I know you will give your full service-above-self efforts doing the next year as she moves our district to even higher heights. I congratulate DGE Monica Gutierrez and the entire leadership team for Rotary year 2023-2024 for their selection into new leadership positions and wish them the very best with continued support. Following Monica as District Governor will be DGN Steve Darling for the year 2024-2025 and DGND Kristen Salazar for the year 2025-2026.
