What was your most memorable Rotary service project? My most memorable service project was in India. I participated in a Rotary Group Study Exchange (GSE) in December of 2012, and wasn't a Rotarian yet. However, being allowed to assist in distributing the polio vaccine directly to children had a lasting impact on me. It defined Rotary in a way many won’t ever experience.
What part of your cultural heritage are you most proud of? The part of my cultural heritage that I am most proud of is the importance of family. Having grown up in a challenging environment, I really didn’t learn to appreciate this until I met my future wife, Imelda, in March of 1997. I’ve tried to emulate that experience ever since.

What was the most important professional decision you made? This is a tough one. The decision to no longer pursue advancement is probably the toughest call I’ve made. Seeking further advancement would disrupt the quality of life I have found in my current assignment. I am now able to focus on my family after many years of late nights and early mornings.
