On Monday, September 28th, Rotarians, community partners, and local golfers took to the newly renovated Live Oak Course at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club for the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch Foundation’s 14th Annual Charity Golf Classic.
The annual 4-Player Team Scramble serves as the Fair Oaks Ranch club’s primary fundraiser each year. Thanks to strong inter-club support, dedicated volunteers, and generous sponsors, the tournament continues to exemplify the power of Rotary fellowship and collective impact.

Proceeds from the Charity Golf Classic directly enable the Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary Foundation to fund a diverse array of community service projects, youth leadership development, and international outreach throughout the year.
Key initiatives supported by the tournament include:
Youth & Literacy: School Resource Officer (SRO) programs, CTE scholarships, elementary school library book donations, and Blessings in a Backpack programs within Boerne ISD.
Family & Human Services: Vital support for local partners such as Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, Hill Country Family Services, Hill Country Mission for Health, Kendall County Women’s Shelter, Meals On Wheels, and Ransomed Life.
Rotary Youth Programs: Sponsorships for the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA), local Interact Clubs, Youth Exchange students, and BSA Troop 407.
International Service: Ongoing support for the Casa Del Aguila Orphanage & School in Limatambo, Peru—a project co-founded by late Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarian Ralph Fair, Jr.
Special thanks go out to Co-Chairs Bill Fusco and John Rogers, Club President Mary Thompson, the host committee, and all visiting Rotarians and participants who contributed their time, sponsorship, and tournament entry.
