The Hays County Rotary Clubs of Kyle, San Marcos and Wimberley gathered together for a social on November 7th at the Hays City Store in Driftwood, Texas. More than 50 were in attendance. The clubs sponsored non-alcoholic drinks, chips, queso, salsa, and guacamole.
Individuals had the opportunity to buy bar drinks and a full meal. Live music was provided by the venue. The weather was PERFECT!
This is the third such social held between the Hays County clubs. Members are getting to know one another and there is increasing interchange between the clubs. We learned about the success of San Marcos's Pub Crawl for PolioPlus, the Kyle Club passed out posters for their February event "Kyle's Got Talent," and Wimberley enjoyed the support of other Rotarians in their upcoming football raffle.
