Early Saturday morning, November 5, 2011, hundreds of teenagers from a 44-county area will converge on The Winston School San Antonio for a New Generations Conference of leadership training, sharing accomplishments and international community service.  High school Interact clubs in central and south Texas have volunteered many week-ends over the past year to better their local communities and the world through hands-on volunteer projects, raising money and collecting items to help those in need.  Interact members develop a world-wide network of friendships and learn the importance of:

  • Developing leadership skills;
  • Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others;
  • Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work; and
  • Advancing international understanding and goodwill
As one of the most significant and fast-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon. Approximately 200,000 young people are now involved in Interact.
