More than 100 community volunteers helped San Marcos Rotary sponsor a Rise Against Hunger event on October 19. In just over 90 minutes the volunteers bagged and boxed almost 15,000 packets, each of which serves six meals.
Many volunteers came from Rotaract at Texas State University and from the San Marcos Academy. This was the 4th Annual Rise Against Hunger in San Marcos.
