One of the glorious tenants of being a Rotarian is the ability to travel and fellowship with like-minded Rotarians.  This past month, members of the Rotary Club of San Antonio Pearl got the opportunity to visit with the Rotary Club of New Orleans Riverbend.
Pearl Club President, Raven Mirabeau, along Assistant Governor, Karen Allen-Mirabeau, President-Elect, Rudy Rubio, and Bridgette Gentry traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana, to present Riverbend Club President, Travis Llewellyn a Texas State Flag that was flown over the State Capital along with a certificate commemorating fellowship between the two clubs.  AG Karen Allen-Mirabeau also presented a pin on behalf of Kristen Salazar, District Governor for Rotary District 5840.  Travis Llewellyn also presented their Rotary club flag to the members of the Pearl Rotary club to celebrate the unity among Rotarians.

Raven Mirabeau gave glowing reviews of the members from Riverbend Rotary Club, stating “…they welcomed us with open arms, and the conversations were like talking to old friends.  Very hospitable, and I can’t wait to get an opportunity to work with them in the future.”
