The Rotary Club of New Braunfels recently held their spring fundraising event, the Hill Country Craft Beer Festival (HCCBF), a one-day Texas craft beer tasting and music festival that raises funds for the club and for distribution to local non-profit groups throughout the region.
The club also selects one major benefactor of the event, which this year was Pink Warriors Advocates (PWA).

Held on Saturday, April 20 at Rockin’ R River Rides along the Guadalupe River in Historic Gruene, the festival was attended by more than 1,800 craft beer enthusiasts who enjoyed tastes from 25+ craft breweries that poured over 100 different beers, hard seltzers, and hard ciders. This year’s music lineup included local favorites Josh Grider, Soul Sessions, and 3 Man Front.

“Rotary Club of New Braunfels is very excited about the turn out for this year's Hill Country Craft Beer Festival. The generosity of our sponsors and guests helped us to more than double our bottom line in this fundraising effort, compared to our 2019 event. These funds will be used to support our local charitable giving,” stated HCCBF Chairman Britt Etheredge. “In addition to our sponsors and guests, we would also like to thank all of the volunteers that helped us put on the event, roughly 300 of them – half of which came from outside of our Rotary organization – which is a great testament to the giving nature of our community. We look forward to the continued success of our annual Hill Country Craft Beer Festival and the local charitable support it generates.”

The huge success of the 2021 HCCBF allowed the Rotary Club of New Braunfels to make a donation of $25,000 to the event’s benefactor, Pink Warrior Advocates. “The blessing of this outstanding contribution will, no doubt, impact so many lives and allow us to continue forward with our mission of ensuring our Local Warriors are taken care of during their journeys with breast cancer, stated Jen Reynolds, Founder of PWA. “There are absolutely no words that can express our gratitude to the Rotary Club of New Braunfels, all of the sponsors, the volunteers, and the entire community for coming together to make this possible.” Additional funds raised at this year’s will also be distributed to local-non-profits through Rotary Club of New Braunfels Charitable Giving Program.

“Our beneficiary, Pink Warrior Advocates, is a very deserving organization who provides a much-needed service to our community by  helping women in their battle with the affects and struggles associated with Breast Cancer,” stated Rick Kiesling, Rotary Club of New Braunfels President. “We are excited that the event was such a success, giving us the ability to provide PWA with a substantial contribution. It’s a blessing to us to know they will use those funds to enhance the lives of their beneficiaries through their programs and services.”
