Recently, the Rotary Club of Alamo Ranch organized two donation drives to benefit the Bexar County Battered Women and Children's Shelter. The club accepted new/gently used clothing, homeware items, and cleaning supplies, which will be used by survivors of domestic violence as they get a new start and transition into a safe and healthy living situation.
Also, during July, the club hosted another donation drive for the San Antonio Food Bank, supporting families throughout South Texas in need. The club plans to continue its efforts supporting both the Battered Women and Children's Shelter and the San Antonio Food Bank throughout the year.
