Wimberly Rotary is happy to announce the winner and runner up of the 3rd Danforth Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year. This challenge asked students to read a biography of their hero, then compare their hero’s strengths, challenges, flaws and achievements.
We had a tie for runner up between Jack Malone with his entry on Albert Einstein, and Madeleine Smith with her entry on Mr. Fred Rogers. Jack and Madeleine shared the $50 prize. The winner of a crisp $100 bill was 6th grader, Hayden Hall, for his entry on Abraham Lincoln.
