On October 26, the Rotary Club of Canyon Lake and the Comal County Friends of the Night Sky presented a Sky Friendly Certificate to the Tye Preston Memorial Library in Canyon Lake for their building and grounds.
The Night Sky group also presented the Library with a copy of Casandra and the Night Sky – a children’s book published by one of the group’s members.
The two groups, CL Rotary and CC Friends, will continue to award businesses in the area, that are not contributing to the ever-increasing light pollution.
