The Rotary Club of San Antonio is celebrating 25 years of creating safe places for children to play through the Kingdom for Kids project.
This year the club transformed the new Girls Inc campus from an empty dirt space to a magical playground. In two days the club and hundreds of volunteers built a play structure a play house, a gazebo, a half-court basketball court, a reading theater, painted inspirational murals and landscaped the entire area.

We are proud to help the young ladies served by Girls Inc become "Strong, Smart & Bold!" Over the course of 25 years the Club has built 22 playgrounds at schools, libraries and non-profits. The local communities and thousands of children are benefiting from these projects.

The playgrounds are built by Rotarians, City Year and hundreds of community partners. The Rotary logo proudly stands at every project. Special thanks to Kingdom for Kids founder Rick Cavender, longtime supporter and honorary member Harvey Najim and the Harvey E. Najim Charitable Foundation, our service partners City Year of SA and all our volunteers and supporters. "Every Child Deserves a Safe Place to Play!"
