The San Angelo Sunrise Rotary Club held a 5k run on April 30, 2022, the RAT RACE is held each year to benefit several local and one international charity.
Although, we are a small club we are mighty in our service and our ability to serve the San Angelo community. The Rat Race earned $2,400, Meals for the Elderly received $400, the Concho Valley Food Bank received $500, and Water for All an international organization that provides water wells for people around the world received $500. The Club choose the Angelo State University Food Pantry as our main recipient, they received $2,000, $1,000 from the Rat Race and another $1,000 from a District 5840 matching grant.
