Every child looks forward to a visit from Santa. And even though this year’s logistics were a bit different, the Rotary Club of San Antonio South didn’t want to leave two deserving families out.
The Rotary Club of San Antonio South adopted two families from the Pre-K 4 SA South Education Center at 7031 South New Braunfels Rd. The event was attended by Rotarians Monica Caballero, Rosie Ramirez, Randy Bullis, Belia McDonald and Belinda Gonzales.
Each family received H-E-B gift cards along with gifts for the children.
“The Families were very grateful and thankful for the help during this difficult time,” said Belinda Gonzales director of the Education Center.
Adopting families marks many years of serving families of the southside. The club usually host the families to dinner during the clubs Christmas party. But this year being a bit different, the club didn’t want to leave out the people they serve.
