After participating in the “Stuff the Bus” campaign, The Rotary Club of San Antonio South asked the teachers of Graebner Elementary, located in SAISD, what their “wish list” would be. Schools receive many different supplies, but often the teachers “wish list” is overlooked.
With the help of RBFCU and the Rotary Club of San Antonio South their list was fulfilled with over $450 in supplies.
Belia McDonald, Service Team Leader, and Rotarian Monica Caballero presented the supplies to Ms. Gallo’s First-Grade class. When we asked the children what having fun supplies for their class meant to them, they said it made learning fun.
We like to color, write and draw, was the consensus of the class.
