District Governor Kristy Vandenberg's October Message
October means cooler weather, falling colorful leaves, Rotary Economic & Community Development Month and, of course, World Polio Day, Sunday October 24th.  
 
Let’s talk Polio!  We are literally so close to eradicating this disease. Only two (2) new cases of Polio have been reported this year from January thru September. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supports our efforts with a 2:1 match for every dollar we raise!  Once again our goal for the US is $50M raised, for a total of $150 after matching funds!
