December is Disease Prevention & Treatment Month. What a great time our clubs had in October coming together to raise funds for Polio Plus. Polio Eradication continues to be one of our main goals as an organization. Kudos to all the clubs that held a Polio fundraising event and/or helped to share information about this disease.
Of course, COVID 19 is still out there, with new variants probable. Rotary supports the COVID 19 vaccine while still honoring an individual's right to choose. We are working with organizations across the world to help get the vaccine to all individuals in all countries. We have mourned the loss of friends and family to this disease, but continue to work together as Rotarians committed to Disease Prevention & Treatment.
Fair Oaks Ranch Rotarians joined a variety of other local service organizations to cook, pack, and deliver several hundred Thanksgiving meals to families throughout Kendall County.

After a devastating fire destroyed the Marketplatz building at Wurstfest in New Braunfels in 2019, taking with it the Rotary Club of New Braunfels' main source of income, their German potato pancake booth, the future of the Club’s fundraising abilities seemed uncertain.
