News From Around District 5840
District Governor Kristy Vandenberg's December Message
December is Disease Prevention & Treatment Month.  What a great time our clubs had in October coming together to raise funds for Polio Plus.  Polio Eradication continues to be one of our main goals as an organization.  Kudos to all the clubs that held a Polio fundraising event and/or helped to share information about this disease.

Of course, COVID 19 is still out there, with new variants probable.  Rotary supports the COVID 19 vaccine while still honoring an individual's right to choose.  We are working with organizations across the world to help get the vaccine to all individuals in all countries.  We have mourned the loss of friends and family to this disease, but continue to work together as Rotarians committed to Disease Prevention & Treatment.
