Participate in a Global Grant! You can be a partner in a grant that already has an idea that will make a lasting impact, but needs additional funding from other Rotary Clubs! Check out the list of Global Grants requesting financial support on myrotary.org.
In response to questions and concerns raised by members worldwide, we are pleased to announce that the Rotary International Board of Directors has confirmed that the 2022 Rotary International Convention will be an in-person event 4-8 June in Houston, Texas, USA. We are excited to offer a special registration rate of US$495 through 28 February.
Rotary International President-elect Jennifer Jones wants members to imagine the possibilities in the change they can make to transform the world.
Jones, a member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, revealed the 2022-23 presidential theme, Imagine Rotary, as she urged people to dream big and harness their connections and the power of Rotary to turn those dreams into reality.
We’re excited to announce that the Rotary District 5840 – Annual Share Fund raffle tickets are now available! If you’re familiar with this amazing raffle, then you know how much our annual go-to fundraiser is to The Rotary Foundation’s mission. The money raised during this time comes back to our District and funds our District Grants (important, right?!).
The Indoor Ride to End Polio included 25 teams with approximately 250 participants. The highest Indoor Ride fundraiser award goes to Calgary West, where 34 clubs helped raise more than $91,000. Second place went to Stoughton, WI who raised more than $27,000. In total, the Indoor Ride, including all sites, raised a record $505,642 (all figures quoted with the Gates Match).
Oak Hills Rotary Club with the Nueva Rosita Centenario and Coronado Binacional Rotary clubs in Mexico partnered together to deliver a water purifying plant.

Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary Club representatives Greg and Carmen Buschman, spent their holiday season transporting thousands of plastic bottle caps to a charity in Juarez Mexico which recyles them to earn money for the families of children in the hospital.
The Satellite Club to Combat Human Trafficking has taken on the huge task of educating all clubs in the District on what they can do towards eradicating this horrible crime to humanity.

The Roy Maas Youth Alternatives Home in Boerne, now has a putting green for their residents thanks to the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch with some assistance from a District grant.
