Stephanie A. Urchick selected to be the 2024-25 President of Rotary International
Stephanie A. Urchick, of the Rotary Club of McMurray, Pennsylvania, USA, is the selection of the Nominating Committee for President of Rotary International for 2024-25, a decision that would make her only the second woman to hold that position. She will be declared the president-nominee on 1 October if no challenging candidates have been suggested.

Successful Supply Drive

"Family Fest" School Supplies Give-Away

Beer Fest Funds Benefit Shelter
Fredericksburg Rotary Club Foundation on Monday donated a portion of its proceeds from the first Fredericksburg Craft Beer Festival to The Grace Center, a 36-bed facility being constructed as a domestic violence shelter.

School Resource Rally Project
As a community partner, the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch assisted the Boerne ISD with their annual Resource Rally ensuring families had the appropriate medical attention and supplies needed to successfully start the new school year. Over 300 students and parents were provided a multitude of products and services that were generously donated by local businesses and individuals.

Welcoming Franz Leadership Academy Back to School
Rotary eClub of San Antonio played a significant part on August 17, 2022 in welcoming Franz Leadership Academy students back to school, with school supplies in a mini parade. The parents were overjoyed with the love and support that the Rotary eClub of San Antonio showed toward the school and community kicking off our Service Project Light Up Literacy which marks the 5th year of this project.
Handmade Pillows for Uvalde Victim's Families 
Las Vegas After Hours Rotary Club joined the Uvalde Rotary. They came down to deliver handmade pillows to parents of the victims Uvalde Rotary help put the pillow covers on and arranged/ hosted the meeting Aug 25 at the El Progress Memorial Library
San Marcos Packs School Supplies for Children
Twenty-four San Marcos Rotarians and community members packaged school supplies for nine villages in Northern Mexico and child serving nonprofits in San Marcos on August 26. The supplies will be delivered by Mision de Candella, based in Fredericksburg, which provides free health care services to the villages.
Uvalde teachers are granted their wish list for back-to-school items
The Rotary Club of San Antonio provided 12 teachers from Uvalde, Texas nearly $8,000 worth of Amazon Wish List items for their classrooms.

Pearl Rotarians Assist St. Vincent de Paul Society
Pearl Rotarians assisted The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Texas Council in San Antonio, TX. Hundreds of food supplies were delivered to be available for families in need in urban areas of the Alamo City.

Every year, Rotarians and Rotaractors across the globe mobilize for WORLD POLIO DAY to raise awareness about eradicating polio for good. If we stay committed, polio will be the second human disease ever to be eradicated.

Presentation of Presidential Plaques to Past Presidents
At the regularly scheduled Kenedy Rotary Club meeting August 30th, Saundra Schultz, President presented Presidential Plaques to our past Presidents. Wade Phelps 2020 - 2021 and Joe Avalos 2021 - 2022.  It was a celebratory event for sure!!!

Charity Golf Tournament
Fredericksburg Nimitz Rotary Club will be having a golf tournament on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Lady Bird Golf Course in Fredericksburg. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards replacement of the historical cross at Cross Mountain Park.
