The Rotary Club of San Antonio Oak Hills is a partner with the Rotary Club of Nueva Rosita, MX to purchase/install the RO drinking water equipment and water distribution piping required for new water purification systems in multiple schools in the Nueva Rosita area.
On Friday, June 18 the Rotary Club of San Marcos had a Rise Against Hunger Dinner at First Christian Church in San Marcos. The ingredients that are packaged and shipped overseas by RAH were the basis of the meal, so Rotarians could experience a meal similar to what food recipients experience.
Kerrville Morning Rotary recently awarded two, $1,500 scholarships to local students; one from Tivy High School and one from Ingram Tom Moore High School.
On Tuesday, May 25, 2021, eleven High School students from Del Rio and Comstock were awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Del Rio Rotary Club, after a review of their applications and interviews.
The Hondo Chamber of Commerce held it's annual 2020 Banquet on Saturday, June 26th, and the Rotary Club of Hondo - D'Hanis was the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year award!
The Winston School Interact Club held its 25th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Winston School Greehy Family Foundation Dining and Assembly Hall. Eight past Interact Club Presidents and other officers were on hand for the event. Army Captain Dominic Cavallini, a 2011 graduate of the school was the emcee for the night.
A benefit concert was held Sunday, June 13th at the Medina County Fair Hall, to help cover expenses caused by the hail storms that caused much destruction in Medina County in April.
President, Jimmy Culp, presents a check for $3174 to Sharon Massey and Dottie Pieper of Wounded Warriors at Nebo. The club raised the money by selling BBQ plates at a Memorial Day celebration at the home of Neal and Pam Martin. Many, many thanks to all who participated and donated.
The Hondo - D'Hanis Rotary Club partnered with Medina County Meals on Wheels to help deliver over 65 fruit baskets & meals to local homebound residents.

Hondo/D'Hanis Rotary Club delivering PPE's to Del Rio Rotary Club. The equipment was donated by the Medina Regional Hospital and will be delivered to the Acuna Rotary Club for distribution.

The Rotary Club of New Braunfels recently held their spring fundraising event, the Hill Country Craft Beer Festival (HCCBF), a one-day Texas craft beer tasting and music festival that raises funds for the club and for distribution to local non-profit groups throughout the region.
The Rotary club of San Antonio South finally is back meeting face-to-face. Stinson Airport was the site of the first meeting, June 1. The meeting was well attended and a few joined in on Zoom.
The Pleasanton Rotary Club is proud to announce its 2021 scholarship winners. These students were recently honored at the Pleasanton HIgh School Awards night. The club usually awards $5000 a year but was able to increase that this year to $6,000 in cooperation with Rotary 5840 and district grant funds.

In 2019, Rotary International implemented a partnership with the United Nations addressing the concerns of plastic waste on our environment. This partnership calls for reducing the use of plastic, changing the industry to use less and different kinds of plastic, and implementing more recycling.
