Venice Meets Texas: Welcome, Tobia!
The Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary is thrilled to welcome our newest Youth Exchange student, Tobia, who has traveled all the way from the historic, canal-lined streets of Venice, Italy, to join our community for the upcoming year. Tobia touched down in San Antonio on August 3rd, where our club gathered at the airport to give him a huge, true-blue Texas welcome the moment he stepped off the plane.

Maternal and Child Health Month Service Project
For Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Wilson County sponsored a “Baby Shower” for the South Texas Pregnancy Center, a non-profit organization that provides compassionate care to pregnant women and their families. They offer free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds during the first trimester, and Prenatal & Parenting Classes.

Food 4 Kids Fundraiser
Fredericksburg-Nimitz Rotary and Texas Heritage Vineyards raised $3,000 for the Hill Country Needs Council's Food 4 Kids Supplemental Weekend Nutrition Program. Nimitz Rotary provided food by donation and raffled gift baskets at a Vino and Bingo event held at Texas Heritage Vineyards.

Congressional Recognition
Long time rotary member, Jack Harrison, received congressional recognition from Congressman Henry Cuellar for his involvement in the Rotary Club of Jourdanton and Jourdanton Chamber of Commerce. Jack's vision and dedication led to the creation of the annual Fourth of July celebration over 25 years ago that brings the community together to celebrate and connect with one another. We are so proud of Jack and his commitment to our club and our community!

San Marcos Hosts Booth at Chamber Event
Twenty-two Rotarians wearing Rotary apparel staffed an awareness and membership recruitment booth and circulated at the annual San Marcos Chamber Business Showcase on August 19. There were more than 100 vendor booths and thousands of attendees to the event, held at the Convention Center. 
Service Above Self in Action
As wildfire recovery efforts continue across the country, we’re reminded that service doesn’t end when the headlines do. Heartfelt thanks to our fellow San Antonio Rotarian LoriAnn Tinajero, American Red Cross National Deployments Elected Official Liaison & External Relations and Regional Philanthropy Officer, for her steadfast leadership and commitment to Service Above Self.

Oktoberfest Kraut Run October 3rd
Fredericksburg Morning Rotary Club’s 17th Annual Kraut Run, featuring 8K and 5K timed runs and a 5K walk will be held Saturday, October 3rd in Fredericksburg, TX. The walk is not timed, and everyone is welcome. It’s held Oktoberfest weekend, so you can go to the Oompah party right after our event.

Hometown Heroes BBQ Event
The Rotary Club of Medina County is holding a Hometown Heroes BBQ Event at Hondo City Park #1, 733 FM 426 N, Hondo, TX 78861 on Friday, October 23 from 5 to 7 pm and Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 2 pm. This is a fundraising event with funds coming from sponsors, teams competing in the BBQ, vendor booth fees, and beverage sales; funds raised over the costs of the event support Rotary projects including scholarships. Last year the event allowed us to give $8,200 in scholarships.

Snack, Pack -&- Impact

Together, our Rotary Club of San Antonio, TX -&- District Governor Bobby Martinez helped bag 5,000 nutritious food packs for children experiencing food insecurity. By ensuring access to healthy food over the weekends and evenings, Students come to school ready to learn!

San Antonio North Central Rotary Invests in the Next Generation

San Marcos Creates Corporate Membership Category
San Marcos Rotary created a new category of membership in spring 2026 called Corporate Membership. An organization can join for $2,000 a year and identify up to three employees as Rotary members to represent them. The first Corporate Members are Texas State University, and LaCima, a residential community of new homes in San Marcos. Three University employees have been inducted into the club as well as two leaders from LaCima.
