The Rotary Club of San Antonio was honored to receive an esteemed Peace Laureate Award along with our Nurturing Hope partners at the 21st Annual Blessing of the Peacemakers by the San Antonio Peace Center. We’re deeply moved to be recognized among others committed to promoting positive and lasting peace, including Northwest Vista College, Trinity University, UT San Antonio, and the HE Butt Foundation.
Founders Jack McGuire and JC Clapsaddle, USAF Col (ret) were singled out for the efforts leading to the development of the program with Rotary Clubs in Belfast, Dublin and The Hague at Northern Ireland’s Corrymeela Community.
