In 2023, Seeds of Hope: International Peace Leadership Academy, was founded in Northern Ireland by the Rotary Club of San Antonio in partnership with Rotary Clubs in the UK and Ireland. Seeds of Hope is a year long academy that equips young leaders to transform conflict, unite divided communities and lead with courage.
At its Annual Meeting, Rotary District 1160, (Ireland), awarded The Cecil Whaley Cup to our Seeds of Hope Project as the most significant service initiative of the year for building positive peace and uniting global communities.
At its core, Seeds of Hope is grounded in the values of the Four-Way-Test and celebrates the transformation when we put that test into Action. Over 40 Rotary Clubs and 27 universities have now come together to join us as we collectively plant and sprout conflict resolution and peace around the globe.
